A Walk in the Woods
No new post this week, which is a disappointment to me. I have been trying to keep a regular production schedule in order to provide consistency in my new routine.
I started this blog to share ideas I thought were relevant for collaboration with others. I want these essays to serve as an introduction to me and my thinking, making it easier for me to find others with similar interests, and help those potential collaborators goals to get to know me better to see if it could be a valuable partnership for all.
With that in mind, I should share why there isn't a piece this week. I typically write on Wednesdays. Long story, but that is a day that has worked well for me to sit and produce.
This week, my sons had Wednesday off from school. I joyfully took the day with them, drove down to Henry Cowell Redwoods park, walked through the trees in awe, and played by a stream for what seemed like hours. It was wonderful.
I am not sure how many days I will get doing something like that in my lifetime (wonderful essay from Tim Urban here on the topic, worth reading at least annually). I took the picture above to remember the day, and am writing this now for the same reason.
I'd like whomever I collaborate with in the future to know this about me as well.
